Is "Atlantis"on Bahamas worth this money???



Are there any extra charges? /slides,shark aquarium.../
Is all inclusive necessary or there are places around to eat?
I need all interesting info because I have to choose between this one and some brand new in Mexico.

i just got back on my 3rd trip their. it is very fun and a good place to spend a vacation, but is is a little expensive. the slides aquariums and all that is inclusive. their are many different places to eat their, some expensive, but some places have food for a decent price. and their is also no sales tax in the bahamas.

Honeymoon question for this October?

I am getting married this October in Oklahoma and I am having trouble looking for good deals on honeymoons. I would like to keep the budget around 3,000 dollars if possible. We would also like something all inclusive. My husband really likes the Atlantis Resort In The Bahamas, but it is pricey. We are not looking at any place special right now, in or out of the United States, does anyone have any suggestions on where to go or where NOT to go. ie I have heard Jamaca is dangerous if you leave the resorts. Also, any good travel website ideas I could book from would be appreciated. Thanks everybody!!!

There are lots of great all inclusive resorts on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico that would be well within your budget and its a goregous area. My concern about the east coast of Mexico or any of the Caribbean islands (including Atlantis in the Bahamas) would be that October is still in the hurricane season. I'm not sure I'd risk something as important as your honeymoon. The Pacific Coast would be a better bet for an all inclusive vacation in October as it is not in the hurricane zone. There are some nice resorts on the Pacific coast of Mexico and I would also recommend you consider Panama or El Salvador as both have wonderful all inclusive resorts (Royal Decameron) that are quite reasonably priced.
