Im planning a destination wedding, any advise?

Most of all I'm afraid that it will look rude to my family that can't afford to go to the wedding which will be most of them. It is important to have as many loved ones around as I can but at the same time I have a huge family and I can't afford a normal wedding and invite all of them. Does anyone know the average cost for a guest at a destination wedding probably somewhere all inclusive like a Sandals in the Bahamas or something.

Hey Bryan... Thats what we are doing in 2010. Here is the most important thing to remember. Your wedding is about you and your fiance'.. So dont waste time worrying how other people will view and respond to your choice.. Remember "what others think of you, should be none of your business".. This is about you two making a commitment to eachother. The only people you should be worrying about right now are you and your fiance. The price for a couple to go (as a guest) is around 1000.00 + airfare. If you give them time to save.. thats nothing. Congrats, and good luck!

CF its very cheap for a couple compared to a huge wedding at home.. Take your pessimism elsewhere.

Where is the best place to visit in the Caribbean/Bahamas with a family with 2 college girls?

-For 3/4 nights
-Reasonably Priced
-All-Inclusive Resorts Preferred

When it comes to the Caribbean, I don't think that you'll find anything affordable in the Bahamas.

I would recommend visiting the British Virgin Islands, like Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, or Virgin Gorda, the are beautiful an affordable. We stayed at the Long Bay Resort, it was adorable, not expensive, and hardly any people there. We loved it. We're going back in August. Then we took a fairy to Jost Van Dyke, beautiful, too.

You could also try the US Virgin Islands, I would recommend St. John.

If you really want to go outside the "box" there is an island off the mainland of Honduras and it's just gorgeous. It's called Roatan, Honduras. We went there last summer and loved it. It's a two hour flight from Houston, the sand is white and the water is turquoise, and not many people. Food was great and people are so sweet. The options are endless...
