What is the least expensive, most practical way to travel one-way from Bimini or Nassau Bahamas to Florida?

I'll soon be helping a friend transport a sailboat from Florida to the Bahamas. He's staying for an extended period; I have to return to Florida, then north to home. Depending on weather and available time, I could jump ship in Bimini or Nassau. What is the least expensive, most practical way to return to Florida.

Is Nassau, Bahamas a good place for a family trip?

I'm thinking about taking my family to Nassau, Bahamas but since it is in the Caribbean I'm afraid of city dangers, safeness, and if my children get sick. Please if anyone has been there give me your DETAILED opinion please!!

I think that Nassau, Bahamas is a great place for a family trip. I would recommend staying at Atlantis Paradise Island. It is by far the best hotel in the Bahamas. I traveled with my family there (kids also) and we had the time of our lives! didn't want to leave. There are plenty of activities for people of all ages.
