Is scuba diving better than snorkeling?

I recently went snorkeling in the Bahamas and loved it. I snorkeled anywhere from one foot to 20 feet in the barrier reef and saw cushion sea stars, jellyfish, sting rays, a nurse shark, colorful corals, and delicate angelfish. Getting scuba certified is EXPENSIVE ($1,000) and so are the air tanks. For those who have done both, is scuba diving significantly better? How so?

scuba diving is MUCH better in my opinion! you can go down and look around without worrying about coming up for air. You can relax and take it all in without thinking about how long you can hold your breath. Seriously, it's like night and day. I went scuba diving and snorkeling in the Virgin Islands last year, and scuba diving was SO much more fun! It's a little expensive, but it shouldn't cost a thousand dollars. I think it was only a couple hundred where I went.

is there any nice Caribbean places that you can drink at 18 and find marijuana easily, like the Bahamas?

me and my fiance are looking for a romantic honey moon destination, the beach, the night life, the bars, nice rooms. scuba diving and water activities, and dinner boat cruises . also, we enjoy smoking, and i am wondering is there any places that is kind of easy to find marijuana? and drinking age at 18.
OTHER THAN THE BAHAMAS ; obviously the Bahamas is one of my choices, but i want to know if there is any other places BESIDES BAHAMAS AND JAMAICA.

Barbados is a great choice. You won't even have to leave the beach to get some.
