Is vacationing in the bahamas during april a bad vacation? Is it too cold?

Its 79 degrees..anywhere in the caribbean thats hotter in april?

April should be fine. The weather is similar to South Floriday.

It starts getting cool in December thru mid march, but by april things are warmed up and the water is cool, but swimmable.

It is NOT hot year round. Winters are nice, but not always hot.

If you need warmer weather, go further south into the caribbean. The bahamas is NOT in the caribbean. it's just off the coast of florida in the Atlantic.

I'm taking a vacation in the Bahamas. How much will meals be for an entire week?

I'm trying to save up enough for my trip. I found a package that doesn't include food. I was wondering around how much three meals a day would cost for one week for one person.

That depends on where you are going. And where you are staying.

If you are staying on Paradise Island. I would suggest about $70 per day. (if you want to dine in the evening.. make this $120.)
If you are downtown Nassau, you can get away with about $35/70 a day
Cable Beach - around $50/100.

The low # is eating pizza and fast food with no drinks.

The bahamas is a very expensive destination. A decent evening meal can set you back anywhere from $35 - $100.

There are places downtown that have $3 breakfast, $4 burgers and lots of fast food..(imperial Takeaway) but unless you are staying downtown. (or spend money getting there) .. you'll be stuck purchasing higher priced foods.

Most hotels have starbuck type places for breakfast.. $12 or so.
Beach Grills with wraps for lunch $20
Dinners are more expensive and will likely run around $35. even at the small cafes. Fish Fry will run you mid $20's including gratuitiy)
(A slice of pizza at Marina Village is $8 plus 15% gratuitiy)

Bring as much money as you can muster. Pack granola bars, cookies, cracker and peanut butter.
