You get no deals from Disney and that is primarily because Disney is one of the smallest cruise lines out there with only two (soon to be three) ships and thus the opportunities to cruise with them are very limited. When you compare that with cruise lines like Carnival, with more than 20 ships, Princess with more than 15 ships, Celebrity with more than 10 ships, Royal Caribbean with more than 20 ships, you can see that there are not many opportunities to go on a cruise with Disney. So prices are high because there are very few Disney alternatives. So Disney is a small cruise line with a big name. While that does not say anything about the quality of the cruise, its just why the price is high.
