Disney Cruise Info

Do you know ne thing about Disney Cruises?

I was wondering and a website or info would be great. thx.

We were on the Disney's Mediterranean cruise this past summer. We did alot of pre-cruise research on several websites including the www.disneycruise.com.

But one website, www.cruisecritic.com, had really good information on every cruiseline and every cruise ship. It included details information and, more importantly, detailed surveys and opinions (both good points and bad points) of each cruise ship and cruise.

The opinions of what was "bad", while sometimes discouraging, helped me prepare my cruise plans, shore excursions, etc. so that we had the best vacation ever!

Good Luck and have fun.

Duane

Working on a cruise ship!?

My friend and I are looking at working on a cruise ship. But when we search on the internet, the companies that make you post your cv all seem a bit dodgy, so we wanted to go straight to the cruise websites; we've looked at P+O, Disney, and Celebrity Cruises. Can anyone else tell us any otehr reputable cruise companies and give us any info about the kind of work they offer and how we'd apply? Thanks

Disney Cruise Line Packages

Disney Cruise Line - Land & Sea Packages?

I've never been on a cruise before, but have been to WDW 17x. On our last visit we bought 10 day tickets, but only use 3 of those days. I was thinking maybe we would do a 3 day sea and 4 day land vacation on the Disney Cruise Line.

- When do the 2010 prices open for Land & Sea packages?
- I know there is Magical Express from MCO to WDW and Cruise Line buses from WDW to Port Canaveral... are there Cruise Line buses from MCO to Port Canveral?

Thanks everyone!

I know for a fact there is transportation from MCO to Port Canaveral - I looked into it. There's a bit of a cost but that might be waved if it's through a package.
As for prices - it depends on when your going but if they aren't already up they will be very soon.

I think going on the cruise would be great ! Cruises are fun, and so is Disney .. killer combo. Anyways check out the cruiseline website http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/cruises-destinations/packages/walt-disney-world-resort-cruise/ that section has more info on what your looking for !

Should we have a destination wedding?

My fiance and I LOVE movies and are really kids at heart. We've always wanted to visit DisneyWorld, and so I was looking at vacation deals for the park and Disney Cruise Line.

I stumbled across packages for Weddings AND honeymoons and I absolutely LOVE the idea of getting married there! It's so US!

So my question is, for those of you who had a destination wedding, did you like it? Or do you wish you would've had a traditional wedding where lots of people could attend? And for those of you who didn't, what do you think the pros and cons would be?

Also, we would have a large reception when we got back.

Thanks for your input!

This is YOUR WEDDING!! You should get married anywhere you want to and in any style you want to- hopefully you'll only get to do this once! I will say though about the whole Disney wedding experience- The wedding pavillion is absolutely gorgeous. It's right on the lagoon and you can stay in the Grand Floridian Hotel which is right next door and they do the whole day up special. Disney World is a great idea for a destination wedding because the odds of getting family to come knowing that they'll get to also visit Disney while they're there increase significantly. I hope that your wedding is just beautiful and everything you dreamed it would be! Don't forget to get your bride mouse ears! :)

Disney Cruise Line Discount

where to find discounts on Disney Cruise line?

I looked on the website but the didn't have much so do any of yall know where I can I find discounts

To be quite honest, there aren't any discounts for the Disney Cruise Line. You can pay for the cruise in payments (after the cruise as well).

The only discount I really know of is booking far in advance (the price goes up as the sail date nears), and booking your next cruise while ON your cruise (I believe it's around a 10% discount).

Which Cruise Line Has the Best Web Site?

If you have used the web sites for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess, Carnival, Holland America, Norwegian and/or Disney, which of these cruise lines sights is best for
(1) finding cruises
(2) finding discounts and specials
(3) helping you decide on a cabin
(4) understanding what a cruise is like
(5) making it easy to book a cruise and make payments
(6) making it easy to enter your pre-cruise travel information
(7) get help on the phone when you need it

Explain why you think the web sites you picked are the best?

i think royal has the best web site. it is well organized, shows a great layout of each ship, and their payment method i think is the best. royal caribbean will work with you while some lines such as carnival and disney make you pay half of it at booking.
royal even has sections on if ur a new cruiser or if you have cruised but not on royal..
disney automatically adds insurance and other stuff on the bill and you have to remove it yourself.. disney is only good if your trying to add extra cribs, rollaway, high chairs to your room or dinner arrangement.
carnival always has popus for a phone operator so if you really need to get ahold of someone i guess that would be nice but otherwise some of their website is disorganized
