Hawaii or the Bahamas?

I want to go to one or the other sometime in the off season within the next year or so. I've checked out deals for both. It looks like the Flight To The Bahamas is cheaper than to Hawaii. And the hotel in Hawaii is cheaper than the one in the Bahamas. So, they both end up being around the same price. Which do you think I should go for?

I'd like to go on a vacation but scared of flying. Need alternative.?

Hi, I'm a 20 year old from Toronto, Canada..
I want to head to Cuba or the Bahamas this winter as I never went out of Canada before.
I hate flying, I get huge panic attacks and its one of my worst phobias.. I seeked help and I really can't get over it. I have the biggest fear of the engines failing or a wing falling off or whatever during the flight.. and not having any control.
That being said.. Is there any Cheap way to get over there without spending over $2000 for the vacation with hotel and everything included, if you have any advice I'd love to hear it before I Buy my tickets,

Guess what: you're more likely to die taking a car, bus, train, or boot, or walking or riding a bicycle, than you are to die in a jetliner. So if you're scared of the plane crashing because the engine fell off, you should be even more scared of:
* being hit by a drunk driver
* being killed in a terrorist bombing
* getting shot by a street gang
* getting sick from eating contaminated vegetables
* licking toys that contains lead paint
* drinking too much and choking on your own vomit
* trying heroin and ODing the first time
etc. Flying is very safe, and if you're unwilling to just get the hell over it and get on the plane, there's really nothing to be done.
