Do you need a passport to go from the US to Puerto Rico?
I don't think you do but I'm not 100% sure. My husband and I are planning a vacation there for October. I'm so excited!!! I've never been on a fancy vacation. We're staying at a resort on the beach for 5 days. It's fairly cheap too. Only $900 for the whole trip (2 round trip plane tickets, 5 nights at beach resort). We found this and other packages around the same price on priceline. We couldn't believe how cheap compared to other vacations like Hawaii or Bahamas. Anyways, I'll stop rambling on.

Puerto Rico is an american commonwealth, therefore, you don't need a passport for nothing HERE or the islands Culebra and Vieques which are towns of Puerto Rico.
There are no health problems and being part of U.S.A we don't enjoy keeping people for hostage as we couldn't at all...like anywhere else you don't know for security and quality, don't go roaming around beyond tourist sections or guides if you don't speak the mother tongue which is Spanish and the further you are from the tourist sections, the more you see it and the less english you might encounter equaling more problems for you since you wouldn't know getting your way around. I would recommend for you to stick in old san juan,condado and Isla verde which are all very awesome neat places full of stuff and real popular here ...do not try to go towards Rio Piedras or beyond as that because it's no longer really full of tourist and there isn't much outside there that you might find interesting anyways thoughh ask guides about going to other places like "El Yunque" which is a federal reserve forest and etc....have fun!

usually u cn get upto 70% off on all kinda cruises. On an average I would say your whole vacation,without flight tickets, will run around 1000-1500$ .Happy vacation
