Cruise with Autistic Child?
My husband and I are debating this because we need a vacation and "us" time. I know that Disney cruises goes with Royal Caribbean and Autism @ Sea, I heard they were great. But....what have been your experiences with this? One of my main concerns is my sons diet (ie: he wont eat anything but crackers and cereal, lol) do you think they will be willing to give him a bowel of cereal 3 meals a day?? I wish I was joking *sigh* but he truly eats nothing of substance. And do you think if we deal directly with the cruise lines it will be cheaper then going with autism @ sea, they seem pretty pricey.....thanks
I work with autisic kids at my school and providing that he is on the higher functioning side I think it would be fun! I think you should talk to people from the cruuise line and see what they can do to meet your needs. Good luck!
