carribean cruise lines?

My boyfriend saw a commercial about caribbean cruise lines w/ carmen electra in it for the free cruise so he went to the website & filled out the information, they called us & said it would be $298 total plus the $59 in port fees but they pay for all yours meals, you leave from fort lauderdale and they pay or your stay in a hotel so total its 7 days 6 nights & you go to the bahamas. They charged my card & it seems legit, but is it a scam or not? I've researched it & a lot of people said it was nice & they went & liked it, but others never said if it was a scam they just said when they backed out it was hard to get there money back fast. my friends mom said she worked for them and that it is good, but can anyone give me feedback or did anybody actually go on this?

Its not a scam. It is an older ship that was converted into a "cruise ferry". The cabins are small, the pool is small. The ship is called, the Bahama celebration. It has mixed reviews, but I have read that people sometimes get arrested off the ship. I wouldnt recommend this cruise. Like anything, you get what you pay for.

has anyone taken a 1-2 day cruise from fort lauderdale florida to the bahamas? would you tell me about it?

want to take this excursion but not sure, what is there to do? How were the hotels?

Takes about 2 friggin' hours to get on and off the ship - way to disorganized !
Once on the ship it's a 4 hour cruise to Freeport ( can also go to Nassau ).
Like the other stated it is called a booze cruise for a reason. Don't expect much from the cruise as most just take it as a cheap alternative to flying .
Nassau or Freeport are really just beach towns as the main attraction . Sure you can go to the straw market in Freeport or visit a beach bar ar local eatery but mainly just a beach destination.
