Cruises From Miami To Bahamas
When is the best time of year to Cruise To The Bahamas from Miami?
I'm thinking about booking a cruise in September, but I don't know if that's hurricane season or not...
The hurricane season EVERY year is June through the end of October. So if you want to stay away from the possibility of hurricane then take your Bahamas cruise November through May. If you go in Sept there may or may not be a hurricane. If you do book for that time then for sure book travel insurance, either with the cruise line or a private travel insurance co like Travelex: http://www.travelex.com/us/personal/travelinsurance.asp?content=tie
Cruise lines will do all that they can to stay away from hurricanes and bad weather. They will change the planned cruise itinerary and go to different islands if a hurricane is threatening. So they will do what they can to prevent you from having a bad experience.
