Is the disney wonder very expensive?

My family and i want to take a Mexican Riviera cruise in April of 2012, it is 5 nights/7 days long. (im 13 yrs old by the way) my mom checked out the website and the total will be around $5000. And when i tell her how excited i am, she says "im not even positive we can afford it yet"
We have been trying to save, but what im adking is, is it very expensive? Is there things not included in the price?

It doesn't matter how much or how little something costs... it matters whether or not you can afford it. I'm sure your mother would LOVE to give you the exact vacation you would like. But if she can't afford it, she can't afford it. No amount of nagging, crying, whining or price checking will change that fact. So please be sympathetic to your mother and know that as bad as you might feel if you don't get to go she will feel worse.

Theyre fun but heavily over priced. I like Carnival because you still do the same things without blowing the budget!
