Can I travel (fly) to and from Bahamas with only a US Passport Card?



like not have the book but just the card? I read:

The U.S. Passport Card CANNOT be used for international air travel. This travel document can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry
I am going in the next few months and have never gotten a passport before, so dunno really the difference between card and book.

Can you rent a boat to go from Florida To Bahamas, if so how?



My fiance and I are looking to go to the Bahamas for a vacation, 8 days 7 nights. We were wondering if we were to leave from somewhere in Florida, would we be able to rent a speed boat or a boat to go to the Bahamas, instead of flying?
