Cruise to Bahamas- land excursions?
My boyfriend and I are going to the Bahamas on royal Caribbean for a four night cruise. However we are on a budget and I know land excursions and everything cost a lot. Any fun things to do that don't cost a lot or any things to do/ good beaches that are free or low cost. Thanks, heres the schedule and places were going to:

What can we do in these places for a good deal? Any fun free stuff at these places? Any suggestions? How do you get to these places from the port? This is our first cruise so were new to this. Thanks for the help.
In key west you do not need to pay for an excursion. just wander around on your own. go to duval street, or walk to one of the beaches.
CocoCay is RC's private island where you can go to the beach without paying for an excursion. they have snorkel equipment you can rent, without going on any excursion.
Nassau, you can take a cab to atlantis resort, and for a fee, do whatever you want there. they have beaches, a water park, casino, etc... Or walk the straw market, and just wander around and see the fort (cant remember its name).

Does anyone have any experience with phone solicited "free" cruises?
For the last couple of weeks I have been receiving daily phone calls from a cruise line (international I think), offering me and my boyfriend a "free cruise" to the Bahamas. All we have to do is pay the Port Tax(?) of $59 per person. Then once the 3 day cruise is over, we get 3 days at a 5 star hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. I am leary of this "too good to be true offer" but my boyfriend thinks it is a good idea. They are calling back tonight after we have researched it a little bit. I don't want to go.
It's a typical and well - known scam. Don't fall for it, no matter how nice the person sounds on the other end of the phone.
