Honeymoon In The Bahamas

What is a port of call excursion what does it mean if it is not a port of call excursion?

My boyfriend and I are getting married in January and going on a Cruise To The Bahamas for our honeymoon. For my birthday we are going on an excursion to Disney World when we stop in Florida. Some activities on Carnival.com say they are "port of call excursions" some do not. What is the difference? We do not want to be left behind or anything.

That cruise has many people disembarking in Port Canaveral. Those people have the option of a disembarking excursion--you'll see some of them are marked only as disembarking. This means the people getting off the ship will get their luggage, go through customs, and then meet up with the shore excursion.

Some are just Port Excursions meaning there will not be time to get your luggage. It's only offered to people sailing on, people that Port Canaveral is just a Port of Call (not where they disembark).

can you cruise to the bahamas while on felony probation?

I'm getting married in July and would like to go on a cruise to the bahamas for our honeymoon however, my soon to be husband is on felony probation. I have heard that he isn't allowed to leave the country even with permission from his probation officer if he is still on probation. Please help!!

The answer is, obviously, no. If he has been told that as part of his probation he cannot leave the country, THEN HE CANNOT LEAVE THE COUNTRY! This includes the Bahamas, which are not part of the United States. If your heart is set on a honeymoon cruise then go on one that sails exclusively to and from the United States, ie Hawaii or the East Coast. I would be sure, however, that he is even allowed to leave the state in which he is on probation, a lot of people cannot even leave the state when on felony probation. It would be awful to start your marriage with your husband in jail for probation violation, so I would be really careful and make sure you know what he can and cannot do on probation.
