what is the nightlife like in Gregory Town (Eleuthera island) Bahamas? ?

I'm going to be visiting the Bahamas this fall with my boyfriend, and Gregory Town looked like such a nice place to stay. Does anybody know anything about the nightlife there, or anywhere near there? Is it comparable to that of the Mexican Riviera, and is the drinking age enforced?

There are bars but its a settlement and very small (probably less than 1000 residents). You go there to relax and not party.

The legal drinking age of the bahamas is 18 but it is rarely enforced (stated bar hopping at 14).

Is Paridise Island, Bahamas (Atlantis) extremely high in demand?

My friends & I have been intrested in going to Atlantis for our senior trip. We are currently Juniors and will graduate June of 2011 however we will need to start planning this trip in the spring.

If you are asking whether it is difficult to stay there or whether it will sell out for the dates you want to go, I would say no. The place is massive with multiple categories of hotels on the property, so there will likely be vacancy on your desired time.

If you are asking can you get in to the property if not staying there, yes they do selll day passes.

As students I would guess you are on a budget. I suggest you check out the Comfort Suites hotel across the street. It's generally cheaper, has larger rooms, and you get full access to the Atlantis included with your room.
