Nassau Bahamas Cruise
we are going on a cruise to nassau bahamas for xmas. does anyone know if the shops are open on xmas day?
We are going on the Royal Caribbean cruise and nassau is one of the stops. I wanted to shop in their town, but it falls on a xmas day.
Sure they are.. as PUMPED UP as the PRICES are in Nassau are, they won't take a day off from picking the tourists clean. YOu DO know that Nassau is TERRIBLY EXPENSIVE.. right? Just 6 pack of the local beer will cost you about $10 U.S.
Pack a picnic lunch before you leave the ship and go sit on the beach to eat it. then walk through town on your way back to Prince Frederickswhatever dock.

Beach info for Nassau, Bahamas cruise?
I'm going on a cruise next week with one stop in Nassau, Bahamas and I'm looking for transportation and beach access information to Paradise Island. I've already looked into booking shore excursions via the cruise line, but they are really expensive for what you actually get, which is about 2.5 hours of beach time. If you've been to Nassau and taken transportation to Paradise Island and purchased a day pass to a beach please let me know what steps to take, thank you!!
you can walk a mile and a half to Long wharf beach while seeing all of the downtown shops and historical sites for free,or take a taxi and wish you could of taken pictures and view the scenery up closer.enjoy.
