Atlantis in the Bahamas. Is it worth it?



Hi. I found this deal on CostcoTravel.com that I think is pretty good. I wanted to get your opinion.

The offer includes:

1. 4 night stay at the Royal Towers of Atlantis
2. Rountrip Airfare from Los Angeles to Paradise Island, Bahamas.
3. Value Dining plan (It is added as a "complimentary" gift) - Includes breakfast and dinner.
4. Rountrip transportation from airport and the hotel.
5. $100 Credit for the Majestic tours LTD group.
6. $65 trip protection plan

Total $2385.

Please let me know if this is a good deal.

Also, what do you recommend while being there?

This is the total price for 2 people. It does include all hotel taxes and gratuity. (Not gratuity for food & Beverages)

Is that for 1 person or 2 ppl??

Most Deals are based on double occupancy. (meaning each person would pay this price and share a room). Make sure you understand the details.
THis may also not included taxes, surcharges and mandatory fees.

If it's for one person, you would need to pay the single suppliment, which would be quite a bit of money.

If it's for 2 ppl, it's not a bad price considering it includes airfare from Los Angeles

Child Friendly Bahama all Inclusive?



Can anyone recommend an all inclusive Hotel in the Bahamas that is good for children. Paradise Island is way too expensive. I want to take a vacation with my wife, and my two daughters (ages 5 and 1). Any advice is appreciated.

You can easily stay away from Paradise Island. There are two all-inclusive resorts on Nassau's beautiful Cable Beach that are both child friendly and more moderately priced: Breezes and Radisson.

Since your question didn't specifically ask about Nassau, but the Bahamas, I'll give you another option: Viva Wyndham Resort in Freeport/Grand Bahama. You'll find the pricing at this resort to be the most reasonable of the three.
