Paradise Island Resort Bahamas
Atlantis Resort; Coral Towers?
I am leaving for a vacation for 3 nights in the Coral Towers at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. I have a few questions:
1) I have heard the rooms have been recently renovated, is this true?
2) From your own point of view, are the rooms nice (pictures online don't show much)?
3) What activities at the resort do you recommend?
4) What are the best resteraunts to dine for dinner at?
5) For my parents, what do you think that they would enjoy the most?
Thank you
Ok one word for Atlantis is it is breathtaking. Anyways to answer your questions :
1) Yes it is true the rooms have been renovated and in fact they also added a lot of other activities.
2 and 3) The rooms are very nice. I know the internet doesn't show much but the rooms are so comfortable and they're amazing. The view is beautiful too.
3) What activities do I recommend? I suggest you try to do everything there. Well for all ages I recommend going to look at all the aquariums this resort has to offer they are amazing. If your into thrilling water slides I suggest you check them all out. Of course there's the Lazy river ride which everyone will enjoy including your parents. If your into thrills try the Mayan Temple rides. But a warning is that you get a wedgie from it since you're going so fast. Too scared? Try the serpent ride its fun and thrilling but you don't go too fast but the ride part of it is in the dark though. But then after wards your out in the open in the slide in the shark tank which is a pretty amazing experience. Anyways sorry too much about the slides.. The power tower is mostly thrill slides. They also now have a dolphin cay where you can swim with the dolphins which I recommend for everyone. All the pools and beaches are really nice. They also have a rock climbing area if you're interested. I really don't know what you're parents will like but the ones I mentioned above are must sees. There's also a casion and plenty of night life activities like bars and lounges. There's also a great spa and golfing. This resort has basically everything there's really no need to go out of it. If you want to do outside things like hair braiding or buying from vendors their all out there on the beach.
4) Of course I didn't eat at all the restaurants but my recommends are: Fathoms (You're right infront of the aquariums - well everyone is around it but if your lucky and get a table closer to it. The food is really good!) For casual : Lagoon Bar which is more like sandwiches. The buffets are all good depending on which kind of theme and food you like. For express try the cave grill its an interesting experience. I also tried the ice cream shop there which is pretty good. Basically what i am saying from my experience and other people's all the restaurants are generally good some better than others, but it depends on what you like. There's also some shopping there but its more like souvenir shopping.
