Resorts In The Bahamas All Inclusive
All Inclusive Caribbean Resorts for two, under/around $2,000?
Any suggestions on any all-inclusive resorts in the caribbean would be appreciated. My wife and I went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon through a Sandals resort. We loved it. We were looking to go to Sandals Negril in Jamacia this March. Well, 2 people for a week is around $4,000 which is about double our price. We haven't traveled much at all yet, so what are other good resorts that aren't as pricey as Sandals?
Any island other then St. Lucia (because we've been there) would be great. Jamaica, Aruba, Bahamas anything down there that is all inclusive (food, drinks, alcohol). I know I can google things, but I'd rather have personal recomendations.
Thanks for the Help!
Secrets Wild Orchid may be a great alternative for you! It’s a beautiful all-inclusive resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I personally love the ‘no problems’ attitude and extremely relaxed atmosphere of Jamaica. The resort offers several restaurants, three gorgeous pools and fun activities like kayaking, snorkeling or wind surfing. The Spa by Pevonia is amazing and offers a variety of rejuvenating treatments to help you relax and thoroughly enjoy your getaway. I hope you decide to take a look at Secrets! Happy planning!

Is it true that even the "nice" resorts etc. in the Bahamas have cockroaches in the hotel rooms?
How prevalent is this and what can I do to avoid this? Should I call the hotel and have them spray the rooms before we check in? How would I know that they'd done it? We're invited to a wedding there at the end of June and I am starting to get pretty scared about roaches - a friend told me about how there was a roach in their bed (that was like 3 inches long) - at one of those nice 'all-inclusive' resorts... Please advise. Thanks!
Plus I'm sure the hotel staff etc. will probably act like "yeah - so there are roaches? it's the Bahamas - that's a common thing," etc. I would be so grossed out, scared, and uncomfortable!
Roaches have been here since the dawn of time. You can ask the hotel to spray, but that is something you might have to deal with. Nice places have nothing to do with it. They are next to impossible to get rid of.
