Snorkeling In The Bahamas

How much will it cost me to take in a snorkeling trip while on our cruise in the Bahamas?

Whatever you do, do not set it up through your cruiseline or your travel agency. If you go through them, of course they have to get their cut. It is much more cheaper if you set it up yourself after getting off the ship. There is a place on the dock where you can do it yourself. I know this because I just got back about a month ago and that's what I did.

Do you think by July/August the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill will shut down beaches in Key West and Bahmas?

I paid for a vacation package to Florida and planned of driving through the keyes. We also will be vacationing in the Grand Bahamas on Freeport to go snorkeling / swimming in the water. Do you think the oil (that is gushing thousands of gallons of oil per day) will reach that far and ruin the coral reef?
I Am scared now!
