Spend Thanksgiving On The Grand Bahama Island and Start a New Family Tradition
Thanksgiving is just around the corner making it time to invite the guests, polish the silver, make the menu, dig out the china, and find the turkey platter, and this is all before you do all the grocery shopping. Of course if the family is coming perhaps from out of town there will be the bedroom rearranging and massive cleaning, if this sounds like fun, enjoy yourself; however, if it sounds like too much work for what should be a vacation then maybe you need a Thanksgiving getaway. Instead of doing the same old thing, why not start a new tradition like enjoy your holiday on the white sand beaches of The Grand Bahamas Island.
The Grand Bahamas is one of the largest of the 700 islands that make up the Bahamas, and serves as a wonderful holiday retreat for those looking for a bit of rest and relaxation. Book the long holiday weekend at one of the all-inclusive resorts and let someone else do the cooking and the cleaning. The Our Lucaya Reef Village offers ocean front suites to accommodate a family comfortably. With 2 bedrooms, a living area with large screen TV and a dining room and kitchen area, you can enjoy a home away from home. The Our Lucaya offers all-inclusive vacation packages that can work within most budgets; their packages include all meals, lodging, all beverages (including alcoholic), taxes and gratuities plus the use of non-motorized sports equipment. And for those traveling with children, there is even a children's program where the kids can spend their day learning and playing while the adults can sneak off to enjoy time on their own.
The Our Lucaya Reef Village offers its guests 7 miles of beach front, perfect for walking, lounging or just watching the sunset. The resort also has 9 pools and hot tubs to enjoy. Both the beach and pool offer food and beverage service or if you choose sit under the umbrella to enjoy a meal prepared with local flair. If you prefer to be pampered by a spa you are in luck as the resort has expanded their facilities to offer everything from facials, pedicures and manicures to full body massage. If golfing or tennis is your passion you can pack your equipment or rent when you arrive as this resort boasts 2 championship golf courses: The Lucayan or The Reef, and there are 4 tennis courts offering clay, grass, rubber or deco surfaces.
If you are looking for a new way to celebrate Thanksgiving, The Grand Bahama Island offers you and your family a way to enjoy, relax and be grateful. To get the best all-inclusive Bahamas Vacation Package consult a personal Bahamian travel consultant.

All Inclusive Bahamas Vacations
Whats the best way to get a inclusive vacation?
I want to go on a vacation. I am interested in an all inclusive option. Is is better to do my own search on internet or use travel agent? Is there a family option I have a 3 1/2 yr old daughter, and a 17 yr old step-son. I have been to the Bahamas, I want to try somewhere else..I would everyone to have fun. ANy advice would be helpful. And why would pick one destination over the other?
a/i holidays are excellent for family's with a big age gap between kids, when looking for a place to go pick one that has all the options you use at home like safe play area for the wee one and also outdoor activities like tennis, soccer, swimming, snorkeling, also a good thing to look for is that at night they have entertainment that all the family can go to.
last year i took the family to Egypt a/i and they all loved it the older boys swam, snorkeled, rode horses, the youngest 2 1/2 played all day in pool or on the beach even he was on a pony.
We had no problems with food as it was a fantastic mix of all kind of food from italian, indian, greek, british, and of coarse Egyptian all the food was fresh. Both the kids and us loved the choices of restaurants and entertainment.
you pay extra but when you think of all you save not buying ice cream and drinks for the kids all day every day it makes all the difference.
Wherever you pick have a great time and enjoy relaxing with your family.
HOPE THIS HELPS SOME

Looking for an all Inclusive resort. Please Help!?
Hello,
It's summer again so I have a question:
I'm looking for a vacation destination/resort anywhere in the Islands (Bahamas, Caribbeans, Cancun, Dominican Republic). Im looking for a top notch, fun, and nice place. A good example of this would be the Atlantis resort but they aren't all inclusive and their meal plans aren't too good.
Barbados is a beautiful island. Lots of lovely scenery and so much to do, morning noon and night.

As it relates to accommodation, there is a lovely resort in Barbados called The Barbados Beach Club. This is along the South Coast which has all the night life and is within 2 minutes of St.Lawrence gap...the party Capital of Barbados.
http://barbadosbeachclub.com/
The Barbados Beach Club is an all inclusive resort which offers breakfast, lunch, after noon tea, dinner, drinks, an exercise room, pool aerobics, snorklling, scuba diving lessons, windsurfing, hobie cat cruises, beach volley ball, games room and soooo much more. The activities that are included in this all-inclusive package are astounding.
The Barbados beach club has 3 restaurants on site and one of them is buffet the other two are a la carte. The two a la carte are seafood and the other is Italian.
This is a wonderful resort in a wonderful island; you should come and explore it for yourself my friend.
Hope I helped!

Trying to decide between Hawaii, Grand Cayman or the Bahamas?
Just want to take a casual 5 day vacation in June. Trying to decide between Hawaii, Grand Cayman or the Bahamas. Obviously Hawaii is probably a lot more $ but it would otherwise be my first choice- are there any deals to Hawaii these days given the poor economy? If not, how does GC compare to Bahamas? Do you recommend a cruise or a land package (which is a better deal?)
I honestly would recommend a cruise but if you really decide that you prefer to vacation on land then I would make my choice The Bahamas.
Have a look at the link below to get more information on thses two islands:
