Atlantis Bahamas Weather
August Weather in Nassau, Bahamas?
I am from London and I am planning my wedding in Nassau between 1 - 15 August this year. I am wondering what's the weather like during that period. I only want sunny day with clear sky in the morning, between 9am - 12 am! That's it.
I know it will be in the hurricane season... will it affect a lot? If it rains, will it rain a long time, or it will trun to clear after the shower.
I am also planning to saty at Atlantis.
Suppose I am not going to register the wedding service, will it be allowed to take photograph in the area at Aalantis????

The weather is really just fine during that time. A bit of rain, but likely nothing that would interrupt your wedding.
If you're staying at Atlantis, you have full access to the Atlantis property. You can take pictures anywhere except inside the casino. There are so many beautiful places to take photographs here you'll take alot of great photos!

How are the waves on the beaches of the Atlantis Resort In The Bahamas?
Hey everybody!
for this february vacation, i am going to the Atlantis Resort and am extremley excited. I live in cold weather, so this will be such a relief! anyway, i was wondering what the waves were like around that resort. I love huge waves at beaches and i rarely ever have seen them. Any personal experiences are fine, i just want ot know what im going into.

I went years ago to the resort, was named something else then, but nonetheless, the waves were a fair size and even the small ones were powerful, just be very careful we almost lost my sister in an undertow. Like anywhere follow the flags, if it's red its not safe for swimming. Just beware of the very strong undertow! But aside from that it's an absolutley amazing country. Everything is so beautiful and the people are wonderful. Cross the bridge into Nassau and go to the market. They also have a lot of Salvador Dali on display in and around the country so if you are into art, you will be right at home! Don't forget to try the Bahama Mama!

Atlantis is not a cheap resort. I would call them directly. They may have a meal plan but I think you would have to get it directly from them. There are 22 restaurants and 20 bars and lounges. This resort is not listed as an all-inclusive. Sorry

Atlantis Bahamas in August.....?
Is that a good time to go? Also, I'm going to use priceline.com to find a hotel/flight package. So, is it better to book 6 months to a year in advance or do you get a better deal if you book a couple weeks in advance?
August and September are the hottest, most miserable months to visit. Any Bahamian with means leaves! It will feel like you've step into an oven, and it is non-stop heat and humidity. The winters, however, are PARADISE. If you possibly can, go to Nassau, or Grand Bahama, in Dec, Jan. (skip Feb....almost always COLD) March or April. Yes, it always makes sense to reserve in advance....the sooner the better. You should make this trip, if only once in your life, to see the clear, pristine beaches and ocean waters and the Caribbean lifestyle......those folks just wanna have fun!!!!! And write back to tell me how much you loved it!!!!

Atlantis Resort- Paradise Island, Bahamas.?
i am probably going there this summer and i was just wondering if it is worth the price, and what are some fun things to do there?

Whether or not it's worth the price is really up to you.. For me.. it's not.
I don't really like the place. Too big, too fake and too noisy.
I prefer somewhere where I can enjoy the culture and natural surroundings.
If you think Disney and Vegas are vacation paradise.. then Atlantis is for you.
