August Weather in Nassau, Bahamas?

I am from London and I am planning my wedding in Nassau between 1 - 15 August this year. I am wondering what's the weather like during that period. I only want sunny day with clear sky in the morning, between 9am - 12 am! That's it.
I know it will be in the hurricane season... will it affect a lot? If it rains, will it rain a long time, or it will trun to clear after the shower.
I am also planning to saty at Atlantis.
Suppose I am not going to register the wedding service, will it be allowed to take photograph in the area at Aalantis????
Appreciate for any information!!

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weather is really just fine during that time. A bit of rain, but likely nothing that would interrupt your wedding.

If you're staying at Atlantis, you have full access to the Atlantis property. You can take pictures anywhere except inside the casino. There are so many beautiful places to take photographs here you'll take alot of great photos!

Congrats and I hope you have a great time when you get here!

How are the waves on the beaches of the Atlantis Resort In The Bahamas?

Hey everybody!

for this february vacation, i am going to the Atlantis Resort and am extremley excited. I live in cold weather, so this will be such a relief! anyway, i was wondering what the waves were like around that resort. I love huge waves at beaches and i rarely ever have seen them. Any personal experiences are fine, i just want ot know what im going into.

crossing my fingers for huge waves =)

thanks!

I went years ago to the resort, was named something else then, but nonetheless, the waves were a fair size and even the small ones were powerful, just be very careful we almost lost my sister in an undertow. Like anywhere follow the flags, if it's red its not safe for swimming. Just beware of the very strong undertow! But aside from that it's an absolutley amazing country. Everything is so beautiful and the people are wonderful. Cross the bridge into Nassau and go to the market. They also have a lot of Salvador Dali on display in and around the country so if you are into art, you will be right at home! Don't forget to try the Bahama Mama!

I travel with my boyfriend in the Bahamas this January-February, with the best price?

I want to find the best way to travel. Airline reservations, etc. Obviously, I do not want to stay in a double hockey sticks holes, but I've heard of people receiving special rates! What websites I can go? Or what the airlines? Is there a cruise that is very cheap for two people?

Sometimes but not always, it is best to choose a package. Check sidestep.com can compare prices on rates and packages. See also individual companies airlines, many vacation packages offering a reasonable price, USAirways is currently hiring for package sales Bahamas. Also be sure to check TripAdvisor and read reviews before booking a hotel to find a decent hotel. As for the Royal Caribbean cruise is a great cruise and offers cruises to the Bahamas as the Carnival.

One Day Cruise Bahamas

Which cruise ship should I take? The Carnival Triumph or the Princess Caribbean?

I am going on a seven day cruise in October with my wife. I am trying to decide which cruise would be best.

The Carnival Triumph is doing on an Eastern Caribbean cruise stopping in Half Moon Cay, Saint Thomas , San Juan/Puerto Rico, and Bahamas/Grand Turk.

The Caribbean Princess (through Princess Cruiselines) is stopping at Philipsburg/St. Maarten, Saint Thomas, and Princess Cay. The Princess is also a seven day cruise but is stopping at one less place (with an extra day at sea).

What do you recommend? Any experiences with either of those ships?

I prefer the extra day at sea, but if I were to choose, I would take the Carnival Glory out of Port Canaveral. It does an Eastern to Nassau, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten. I go in the off season, usually Sept, and there are almost no children on the ship. And I have noticed that on the longer cruises, there is less of a party atmosphere. People are still on vacation, and having fun, but they are not as rowdy. My first cruise was a three day to the Bahamas, and I would not do that one again. That was when you ran into the party atmosphere.

I really love the days at sea, I would almost prefer a seven day cruise to nowhere.
