The Bahamas In December!?



Hey Guys---

I am traveling to the Bahamas from December 22nd to January 3rd and i was wondering if any of you know what the weather will be like. will it be rainy? what temperature will the water be? I will be staying at the Cove Atlantis on Paradise Island (if that helps)

So far in this month of December, 2009, the weather has been warm and sunny with blue skies, and clouds floating around. Some showers did fall as a cold front attempted to pass through, but it didn't.

Need help packing for the Cove, Atlantis in the Bahamas!?



I am going to the Bahamas and staying at the Cove, Atlantis for 3 nights. Of course packing is always difficult and I want to make sure I get it right! Other than the obvious (bathing suit etc) if you have ever stayed there is there anything in particular I should pack?! Thanks

Depends on your style and what you want to do.. If you are looking for a club atmosphere.. you'll need to "dress to impress' to get into Aura.. but there are plenty more low keyed, or even casual places to hang out. Sun dress, capri and nice tops with sandals are the norm. A sweater for those air conditioned restaurants.
And yes.. beside the bathing suit, don't forget sandals for the hot sand, a brimmed hat and sun glasses and tons of high SPF suntan lotion. Lotion is very expensive at Atlantis.. So bring extra.
