what to do in nassau and Freeport Bahamas?

I would like suggestions of things to do in these ports. I dont like paying the outrageous prices for excursions that the ship offers, i prefer to find smaller companies and get the lesser prices. Anything would help. Thanks!

What is the vest thing to do on a Royal Caribbean Majesty of The Seas cruise to the Bahamas?

I'm going in January and I really need t oknow some things you suggest in like Nassau. What to do on the ship. How nice the Junior suites are. . . That kind of stuff!!

The best way to approach the "what to do" question is to look at the daily activities. Each night you will get an agenda of activities for the following day. Check out what you want, there is so much to do that sometimes it can't all be done. If you find nothing that interest you lay in the sun or shade which ever you prefer and just relax. We stayed in an inside cabin and it was incredibly smaller than normal!! The ship itself wasn't too bad. It is an older ship so unless they've done some remodeling recently it shows sign of wear-n-tear. Food was good some days and not on others (depends on what kind of food you like) Anyhow, a cruise of any kind is great!! Hope you have fun and enjoy. The Bahamas are gorgeous! Great weather, lots of shopping. We did some snorkeling, that was alot of fun. Check out the Tour desk on the ship they offer alot of tours! Happy cruising!!
