New Years Eve Vacation: Cabo San Lucas or Nassau, Bahamas?
Me and some girlfriends are looking for a resort town with great weather, amazing beaches and a terrific nightlife! I know that based on the beaches, most people will recommend Bahamas, but we aren't really picky with beaches.
Basically, we want to know which place will have the better and funner nightlife (more events) for girls in their 20s during new years eve break.
Also, we are likely going to stay in an all inclusive resort for a week, so which one of the two places is cheaper?
I would really appreciate it if you could also reccommend some places (resorts, clubs, bars, restaurants)!!

Nassau and Cabo can get a little chilly at night (low 60s and high 50s), and it only gets to about the mid-70s during the day... You should consider Cancun or Puerto Rico instead! They're much nicer in January, and they're both about 10 degrees warmer in the day and night.

Good vacation out of the country?

I'd like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it's hard to understand why people don't stay home.
Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere - anywhere but home.
