What is the weather usually like in mid-late August in the Bahamas? Around Nassau island.?

I heard it's rainy around october, so is it in august too? Thanks!

So keep an eye on the weather and get travel insurance.

I'm planning a trip to Nassau, Bahamas in June. I know it is the raining season. Is late or early June better?

I want to go when it is least likely during June for most of my trip to get rained out. A little more info on the weather would be nice. Does it rain in the mornings and then get nice. Is it a series of day-long/week-long storms? How bad is the rain? I will be there for 6-8 days. Are there any predictions of a particularly wet or dry summer in the Bahamas?

There is no telling which weeks will be rainy and which won't. There's a good bet that EVERY day will have a rain storm.. comes and goes quickly. Most people don't even stop what they are doing.

This is not the STORMY season.; just the rainy season. don't fret.. a little rain won't ruin your vacation.

Rain is a blessing in the summer months.. it's cools off the day from the oppressive summer heat and humidity.
